PROPERTIES AND TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS
The RSAB system is a certified vehicle component and approved by TÜV NORD Mobilität GmbH & Co. KG. This confirms that a vehicle with an RSAB system installed conforms to the requirements of the Road Traffic Act (StVZO). Functionality of the braking system is not affected by the connection to the existing compressed air system!
The RSAB hose system lies centrally along the entire length of the trailer, between the roof bows and the tarpaulin, fastened by edging straps and specially designed cam-lock buckles. It consists of a high quality, PVC-coated, specialized fabric and is air-tight, extremely kink-proof and very easily folded. In addition, it is equipped with a safety valve, making it impossible to over-fill the hose (e.g. due to sunlight).
The powder-coated control unit is located on the front wall of the trailer. A supply line attached behind the relief valve of the compressed air reservoir and the control unit and an additional connection line to the hose provide the air supply.
All of the required individual components are delivered in one box. The total weight of the system is only about 16 kg.
