EVERY INNOVATION STARTS WITH AN IDEA
This idea came to Johannes Köhler during his daily work as a truck driver! From this first idea, years of work on initial samples and various prototypes resulted in the final product, the Roof Safety Air Bag.
With this product development, he created a solution for a long-standing problem at nearly every freight forwarder and transport company. In addition to the European patent, K & M GmbH has also been honored with numerous innovation awards for development of the RSAB.
The family-owned company has already been developing the next generation for several years. The sons, Markus and Holger, have brought their educational and professional experience to the family business as equal partner-managers.
Construction of a new production hall has set the course for additional, future growth. Our employees have been manufacturing in a space totaling more than 1,000 m2 since November of 2013. By investing in new production spaces and a fully automated production line, we are significantly increasing manufacturing capacity.
In order to further secure the success of the RSAB on the market in the long term, a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015 has also been implemented.
